The friendly hostess made us feel incredibly welcome and special. We also loved the photo on the wall that reminded us of Greece with its white aesthetic.
I was disappointed with the assorted dips from the beginning. Even supermarket ones would have had more flavor. The portion sizes were not well-balanced, with an excessive amount of feta cheese that ended up wasted. The baklava did not resemble the authentic version, missing the honey syrup and nuts. Overall, it was a poor interpretation of a Greek/Middle Eastern classic.
Quiet night for the restaurant, only customer for the first 15 minutes, but still made to feel welcome and the food was fantastic.
We loved this little place and its name. Very welcoming hostess was delightful. The food was scrummy - huge piece of saganaki to start (would have shared if we had known as my partner can't eat much). Charred prawns - so moist - and the charred octopus - so tender like butter. The only thing we would suggest is not to serve all three dishes with salad leaves - some grains or vegetables perhaps, as ended up leaving most of the salad in the end. And lower the lighting in the evening to make it even cosier. But - we would certainly return!
We came after making a reservation for dinner. Stood there waiting for several minutes and not once did the 2 staff staff who walked past us several times acknowledge our presence or stop to speak to us. A simple hello and acknowledgement, would have been a simple courtesy any waiting client deserves. Needless to say, we walked out after being completely ignored and went elsewhere for dinner
