The Island Food Store - Cowes

We visited this charming little place located right on the main road while staying in Cowes. We enjoyed coffee and cake multiple times during our visit, and also noticed they sell a variety of ingredients for cooking at home. The coffee was excellent and the cake was delicious.

I have visited this cafe several times and have consistently found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. I will not be going back.

The food is delicious, but the owner was incredibly rude. Despite the tasty food, her disrespectful attitude makes it not worth a visit unless you have an extremely thick skin.

While eating was good, the setting and the service of the staff was very bad. we had lunch and bought food to take home as a final dish. when we served with coffee, we ask for a piece of $48.00 cake we had bought and became. from the owner in a very off-hand wise that we cut for and place every price of cake. After we spent over $150.00, we accepted this very bad service.

The food is superb no matter what you order. Wether it’s hot or cold, the meals are incredible. You can eat in or takeaway. Just wonderful and something is always coming out of the oven. Yum.
