Would've gone 6/5 stars if we could! A group of 6 of us travelled from Ballarat for a weekend away.. walked in here just by chance and had a brilliant time. Food was sensational, cocktails were amazing, live music was perfect but the service really topped it offThanks guys, you're absolute stars! Happily recommend this to anyone and everyone!
Stopped by this evening with a couple of friends after a long day of being a tourist for an early dinner (5pm). The waiter whom greeted us was friendly, welcoming and promptly seated us. Not before informing us Thursday is $10 burger night though. It's great to have the staff of an establishment actually inform you of the specials, such a refreshing change from having to guess! The food was great; my friends recommend the trumpet burger and myself the chicken burger. (Pair the chicken burger with the Purple Hen Sauvignon Blanc and you will be right on the money.) We also added a side of house made sweet potato chips with hummus - delicious! Service was prompt and prices were reasonable - you get what you pay for and it does not disappoint. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm but add the live music and you're in for a fantastic night that won't break the bank. Highly recommend.
Had been meaning to try out the trumpet bar for awhile Finally made it for happy hour from 5-6.Stayed on for dinner and the live musicWe shared the antipasto platter amongst 3 then shared the beer braised lamb shanks and the vegetable ragu.Excellent flavours and generous servedThe house wine for happy hour was surprisingly goodMusic started at 7.30pm and was a covers group called Rehashed. They play a good variety of musicA great night had by all
Awful! Uncooked chips, Peri Peri chicken was basically an overcooked chicken breast that was probably cooked a couple of days earlier or cooked for a couple of days, who knows? My other half had the fish
