Youki's - Cowes

Youki's is a reliable place for lunch with the family. It's one of the few places on the island where we can all find something we love. The little kids have their sushi rolls, the older kids have their ramen noodles and the adults have their rice dishes. It's centrally located, everything is fresh and tasty and it's always open when we need it.

The crab claw here is delicious. We didn't have to wait long for our food, which was great. I was really looking forward to the matcha drink, but it was a bit disappointing. The powder wasn't mixed well, and I ended up swallowing a clump of it. It could have been because they were busy and in a hurry. I might give it another shot next time or try a different drink.

I was in the mood for some Japanese food, and Youki's did not disappoint! We ordered the beef uson and ramen, and both had wonderfully delicious and flavorful broths. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the café was cozy and inviting. We also enjoyed some warm sake, which I highly recommend!

Great portions at a reasonable price! I would consider this one of the best restaurants I've visited in Kangastralia. You absolutely have to try their hand rolls—they're amazing! I highly recommend the salmon California hand roll with wasabi. The takoyaki was a bit bland, though, so I hope they can work on that.
