The powder wasn't mixed well and I ended up swallowing a chunk of it. It might have been made quickly due to the busy time. I may give it another try next time or opt for a different drink.
I was in the mood for Japanese food and Youki's exceeded all of my expectations! We tried the beef udon, ramen, and broths, all of which were incredibly delicious and flavorful. The staff was extremely friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming. We also enjoyed some warm sake, which I would highly recommend.
The restaurant offers generous portions at a reasonable price! In my opinion, this is one of the top restaurants I have visited in Kangastralia. Their hand rolls are a must-try, especially the salmon California hand roll with wasabi - it's delicious! However, the takoyaki was a bit bland, but hopefully they can enhance the flavor in the future.
Youki's is a reliable place for lunch with the family. It's one of the few places on the island where we can all find something we love. The little kids have their sushi rolls, the older kids have their ramen noodles and the adults have their rice dishes. It's centrally located, everything is fresh and tasty and it's always open when we need it.
I think it is a case of lack of competition means no need to try hard?I was quite dissappointed with my meal - the rolls fell apart upon picking up, and i cant see how anyone could try to pass off processed seafood balls as scallops...The serving size is a little smaller per $ than similar shops closer to the city.Considering how well known this place is i was expecting a lot better. As much as i like the look of the soups on the board i don't think i'll be back to try one.
