Really amazing meal. It was a quiet Monday night so just a few guests as they have recently reopened post-COVID with new menu. Bartender/waiter was very attentive and made me an AMAZING Brand old fashioned. The menu is mostly New Orleans local. All made from scratch and it tastes that way. Took our last minute Reservations....Excellent. Hostess was Great! Waiter tried to remember our order and failed and came back to give him part of the order over again. Upon receiving one of our orders it was partially wrong. Coffee was good. Good service however, too many people waiting on our table which some of our request became repeats. We’re tourists and found this place on the web. We thought it might be good but the way the front girl with puffy hair treated us makes me think the worst now. If that was horrible I can’t even imagine the service we would’ve received. She looked at us like we were lost and didn’t even say anything she just looked at me with a dumb discriminating look. Guess she didn’t think we were worthy of eating in this place. Train your employees some damn manners.

WE LOVE CANAL STREET BISTRO! THE BEST JUICES AND THE BEST CURRY CHICKEN SALAD. I ALSO LOVE THEIR GUMBO....
