Super nice vibes at Chickie Wah Wah! The owners are awesome!! I enjoyed my night service there. Loved that’s it’s conveniently located right on Canal Street.

Enjoyed a night here. The sound was great and the room was lively.

Great little spot to check out musicians, local professional. This was Phil Foster out of Mobile w/guests, Jimmy Hall sis Donna.. of Wet Willie royalty..and also Jeff Beck; Hank Jr. We had a blast! Jazzfest weekend.

Despite some challenges of air conditioning in the bar area, and only one bartender, this place is very nice. I never understand when the place is full the owners don't share the love by adding a second bartender.

Small venue, short drinks, drink are far more expensive here than most other venues. Double whiskey rocks smooth over twenty bucks with a bottle of water. Nice place to see small shows otherwise. Food is bar food but it's good.
