Contribuisci feedbackWhat an experience! Dancing and a show while you eat. The food was great — if you ate vegetarian be sure to ask the server as they have a vegetarian entree available that is not listed. I really appreciated the talented music artist and the hospitality of the entire staff.
I was so sad because I was so looking forward to this meal for my birthday, but it was the only experience I had in NOLA that was disappointing. We made reservations very far in advance and the only availability was very late for dinner, so we were starving. It took 15 minutes to get menus to even start to decide what to eat, and then another 20 to actually be able to order. Our appetizers were delicious, but took about 30 minutes to get to our table after ordering. The soup was too salty, almos … – show
Classy atmosphere, with absolutely amazing food and fine servers, that make it worth the wait. And unfortunately, it is a wait. 50 minutes between some courses. Not sure if there was a kitchen mistake or what, but when the party of 5 next to you, that was seated well after your party of 2, gets their first course and entree in the time it takes you just to get your entree, it makes you wonder. And kitchen mistakes are okay, but lack of any information from the staff is not.
Southern class with amazing food to match; Commander's Palace is a definitive New Orleans experience. The turtle soup, the soufflé break pudding, the red beans, the service, and if you go during Bruch, even music and dancing is a highlight. Reserve a table, dress up, and enjoy an experience you will never forget.
The best brunch by far in New Orleans. A must go. Great restaurant, amazing food, wonderful ambiance. Southern hospitality at its best. Special shout out to Janell and Makaila for making our experience even better!!!!
