We were excited to try this place and it came highly recommended to us. We ordered a lot of different plates to share and the dumplings and baguette were absolutely delicious, but everything else fell flat. Both of our entrees came out cold and were way too salty to finish. The server did not adequately explain the dish I had ordered so I was disappointed when it wasn’t the warm noodle bowl I had expected. Beautifully presented food with excellently prepared proteins. The snapper and red curry ribeye on the bún were standouts. One major gripe: I have never before had Vietnamese food without acidity. Why serve raw carrots and radish instead of pickled carrots and daikon? Also, the ngoc cham was salty to the point of inedible (again, left me wondering if they’d run out of vinegar? . Please recalibrate!
Nothing but wonderful things to say about this cute little cafe. Incredible pastries and coffee, fantastic Vietnamese food, kind team. We even came back a second time on our short trip!
One of the only places we could find open on Thanksgiving but oh so glad we found it. Vietnamese food is something me and my wife aren't too familiar with; but this place blew us away. Started with the Garlic Chili Dumplings and our waitress suggested bread to dip in the oil.
