Sidecar Patio Oyster - Cozumel

Great food. The outdoor seating area is beautiful. The wait staff is so friendly and attentive! I hate the QR menus but that's just a personal preference. I also wish they'd let you know upfront that they can't split the bill. We had to have 1 person in our party pay for the whole meal and deal with it on Venmo later.

We sat in the 'Mermaid Lounge ' early-ish on a Wednesday night and had a good time. The oysters are the stand-out here, and the Wednesday dealer 's choice dozen feels like a steal. It 's fun and informative to have gulf oysters side-by-side with oysties from all over the country. We also both got salads, and could have easily just split one. The salad was over-dressed and a bit un-interesting, but, again, I don 't think people come here for the salads.

I really liked it, it's a nice patio in the warehouse district. The immediate surround of the restaurant is pretty gritty and at night it felt quite sketchy, so highly recommend getting there by car. but once at the place it's very nice. The food is good but it's basic casual lunch style even for dinner. Especially suggest the oysters, really tasty. Do yourself a favor. Go several times. Work your way through the menu. Rest. Repeat. Insanely fresh selection and the bar program is truly inspired.

Place is nice and staff is wonderful. Strongly recommend
