Tea On The Green - Craven

We had a wonderful visit on a very rainy day for afternoon tea. The place is lovely, currently decorated for autumn. Attentive and friendly staff who had the right balance of leaving us to enjoy our food but checking in. Afternoon tea was delicious, lovely sandwiches, sublime scones and heavenly desserts. Endless pot of tea for two too!

What a little gem this is. It is situated just down the road from the main Bolton Abbey car park. We went in for a cup of tea and a piece of cake before our walk. Such friendly, helpful staff. Nice clean crockery. Fabulous pot of Yorkshire tea and scrummy Almond and Raspberry cake. Exceedingly good value for money. It was so good that after completing our walk we returned to this little gem and had a glass of wine each and a light lunch. Had we had our dog with us we now know dogs are made to feel most welcome.

What a beautiful place. Stopped off here for a breakfast and what an amazing experience. We are in the same line of work and the attention to detail is what we all strive for. What brings you back to places like this, apart from the food is the staff. What an amazing team they are. Very welcoming, happy in their job and lovely to chat with. We were given a voucher as a present which we opted to use on an afternoon tea for two. We were served an excellent selection of sweet and savoury items which were all delicious in a quantity just right for two. The staff were really friendly and the decor in the tearoom very pleasant. Can't fault it, highly recommended.

After a chilly walk around Bolton Abbey I popped in for a nice hot drink, staff were really welcoming and invited me to sit and they would bring me a menu. I ordered a coffee, scone, jam and cream. When the coffee came I was impressed as it was in a large mug so gradually warmed my hands round the lovely cup of coffee, then finished off with a gorgeous fresh scone with jam and cream. The tea room was clean and tidy and plenty of room to sit inside.
