The Wooden Nickel - Crested Butte

The food was just not good. A staple in Crested Butte. So many restaurants in the area with fantastic food. Despite the very nice ambiance and service we will not be returning

Our food was good and the service was great! We had a large party and they took great care of us.

They called and texted multiple times that they were canceling our reservation because the kitchen was down for the night. We rode the bus down to town anyway to look for someplace else to eat and lo and behold the Wooden Nickel was alive and well. Many people enjoying food. So on whim we walked in and said we had a reservation and would like to be seated. They never said a word about the kitchen and we were served a full meal. What gives?!

Filet and shishito peppers were both excellent and the tall Texan was possibly the best spicy marg I’ve ever have

Jenna was an outstanding server! Food was prepared correctly and promptly, even though the place was packed with people—always enjoy our dining experience at Wooden Nickel.
