Carnaval - Crestline

I did not take any photos, however they are not needed. We start with the service... we were greeted by the Owner/Host/Cook and he was very nice and welcoming. We got our drinks fast, and since we are new to the Mountain he gave a bit of history on the area.The Food....OMG fresh made to order, very delicious and priced absolutely right!!! If you come to Valley Of Enchantment you definitely need to stop in and have a bite to eat!!

This place is one of the worst places I've ever been into. Food is absolutely horrible they treat there customers horribly. Never going back to this lame a restaurant

Currently visiting from a different city and staying in an Airbnb down the street from this restaurant. The hosts left us the menu for this place as a recommendation so we decided to try it out. Our server Julia was AMAZING; she was so sweet, informative, and attentive. Despite the place being so small and only 2 ppl working atm) the food was spot on: nothing tasted bland nor artificial -even the alcoholic drinks were blended to perfection and tasted so well. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in search of Mexican food :

Honestly, don 't listen to these low star ratings. They 're mostly from disgruntled old farts that seem like life has treated them negatively. Walked in here for menudo, sure they didn 't have it but you can 't blame them for discontinuing something that doesn 't often get ordered. But atleast they are bringing it back. So I walked in here with my wife not knowing what to expect. Let me tell you, when our food was prepared, we smelled it, we tasted it, I looked at my Mexican wife, pointed down at the plate, and said to her THIS, THIS IS LIKE MOMS COOKING, NOT THE **** YOU MAKE , she looked at me in horror insulted by what I had said. She brought her fork up took a bite, and nodded, acknowledging my point. Tony 's is ehh good but not as good or authentic. HORTENCIAS is ****, I 'm sorry, but it is. El Pajaro Azul in blue Jay is second to carnaval. I see people on here complaining the customer service was aweful. Hey, I do customer service and sometimes I have my bad days, but sometimes even when you try your hardest, the customer is imposible.. I had great customer service, was even attended by the owner to make sure everything was good. 2 Years living up here and I slap myself to this day for taking so long to try carnaval out. Wife and I approve and my 4 month old who simply by smelling the food shut his crying a up. Love this place. Respectfully written Leo B.

My husband and I ordered here for the 1st time. We ordered street tacos, fried zucchini and chile relleno burrito. It was all delicious! No greasy food here and great customer service. Thank you! We found our new go to Mexican restaurant ?
