The breakfast in the morning was lovely, although it was a bit disrupted by the smoke alarm going off at 6.30am. The manager even asked me if I had used deodorant, which I found to be a strange question. The room itself was cozy and spacious with an excellent en suite. There wasn't much to do in the area in terms of activities or nightlife. The pub had a friendly atmosphere, but they didn't serve dinner on Monday or Tuesday evenings. The nearest place to eat was a Weatherspoon 7.5 miles away, although there was a chip shop across the road. Despite these minor inconveniences, I had a pleasant stay and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. It is in need of a renovation and does not offer breakfast. I did not have a pleasant experience during my stay. The rooms and service were average, and the location was decent.
Stunning, cozy, and spotlessly clean. Room rating: 4 out of 5. Service rating: 5 out of 5. Location rating: 3 out of 5. Highlight of the hotel: Upscale luxury, romantic ambiance, and family-friendly amenities.
Good pint bit of a one woman show but still good service hope it goes on to strength to strength Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet
Food drinks: Having lived in Crewkerne for some time nowand never even going into The GeorgeI was happily surprised when we did! A friend from out of town and I went in for a glass of vino. Finding the wait staff very friendly and helpful, we decided to return later and have a meal. After chatting with Manager Roseann and bartender Katy we chose Fish Chipshot, delicious and plentiful (Katy makes her own batter-light and crispy) Great job! Thank you for a great eveningwe will be back! Service: 5 Location: 5
