Had a terrible experience here with the bartenders here over all, especially “Angela P.”She seemed upset from the start that we came in during the mid afternoon. There was no host or sign to wait to be seated. It wasn’t very busy, and we were soaking wet from the rain. So we came in and sat near the fireplace at a table to order a drink. We’ve been at the hotel for a week and at this bar multiple times and had no issues seating ourselves, especially when it wasnt busy.At first she informed us we may need to move, although the restaurant wasn’t even half full at the time. She explained that since we only wanted drinks we’d have to make room for a table that wanted food, meanwhile there were 10+ open tables? We then received terrible service, she refused to run our check and then threw the bill at our at our table to top it off. We still tipped well but it was definitely a disappointing as we were leaving the hotel for home. Not the best taste to remember.Witnessed another event a different night where a bartender was chastising a patron for being Ukrainian which was just uncomfortable for everyone at the bar.Expect more out of a venue inside such an expensive hotel.
Bartenders here are shockingly rude. Angela P was our bartender (this time). We sat down at 3pm when the bar was maybe 40% full and were informed that we would have to move. She then refused to take our drink order. Wouldn’t close us out. And after we were able to close out, she literally threw our check on the table. For such an expensive hotel, their staff for this bar reflect poorly on their standards.
Falafel was good! Pretty flavorful and filling portions! Service was 15-20 mins for the food to come out, but it was a nice area to sit in. The restaurant is off side the lobby so a seat in the back was great compared to the front (where everyone could walk by). I'll def be back as it's a quick stop from the convention center.
Our server was phenomenal and made our night! My kid actually said I want to be like him. Food was delicious and authentic Middle Eastern dinners just awesome. Thanks for giving us a great experience!
