Contribuisci feedbackWe went to the harvester tonight for our wedding anniversary meal, very disappointed with the evening, the service was terrible only one member of staff serving the front of house person not interested. When we got the food it was just about acceptable, with lots of dirty tables not cleared, total shambles.
I have had the pleasure of eating at this particular Harvester on a number of occasions over the past 4 years and every time I am pleased that the standard is always the same, five star. The food is excellent value for money with a great selection that should satisfy most people's palate. But what I am really happy about is the standard of service you get at this Harvester. Whenever I book a table as I did for last Friday to meet with a friend, I was so pleased to enter the restaurant and see Catherine the waitress/Manager. This lady is so skilled in dealing with customers it's a real pleasure to eat there. The greeting she gives is so warm and inviting and not just because I have been coming for a long while, she is the same with everyone who comes through the door. I was there for lunch on Friday and it was so full, with Catherine being exceptionally busy, she seemed to be doing everything, but she still bothered to spend quality time with a child that was asking a question. This lady is worth her weight in gold. I am never disappointed when I eat there, it is nicely laid out, not cramped, and you don't feel that you have to eat and get out, it is a treat I look forward to every two-three months. Rodney
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic from beginning to end. My friends are regulars here, even though I live on The Isle of Wight. The drinks and food menus are diverse and satisfying. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean, and the meals are delicious. The service provided by Cathy, the staff, and the chefs was excellent - friendly and efficient. Cathy, in particular, is a standout employee and a true asset to the restaurant.
I have been attempting to contact the restaurant for three days to inquire about their recommended dishes, as stated on the main Harvester website. Despite calling in the morning, afternoon, and evening, I have yet to receive a response. The lack of communication and customer service is very disappointing.
Have to say the waitress was lovely, food not so. Ordered a steak well done. It arrived rare. Waitress asked how the food was and I politely said the steak was rare. She offered to take it away and get the chef to cook it more. When it came back it was still pink. Stupidly felt bad for the waitress and just left the steak. Won’t be going back
