Gianelli's - Crystal Lake

I visited Gianelli's on June 30, 2018, specifically for their cannolis. It was my mother's birthday, and I wanted to surprise her with this special treat since she adores them. I compared Gianelli's cannolis with another place that also makes them fresh to order, and after trying both, Gianelli's came out on top. My mother found the flavor to be exceptional, and the leftovers held up well the next day. She absolutely loved them. It looks like we're definitely coming back! I had heard great things about Gianelli's, but my mom really enjoyed them, confirming they were fantastic. Thank you, Gianelli's, for making my mother's birthday extra special!

What a great find! A five star rating is not enough of an evaluation. My husband and I always happen to Gianellis and say, "We should stop there" well today, and now we say, "Why didn't we come here earlier?" My meatball sandwich was huge (had it to share with my husband), but better still so delicious. You could immediately say that meatballs and Gravy were homemade. The hot dog my husband had was the best we've had for two years. Will we be back? In a heartbeat! And by the way, the owners were very accommodating and the place was spotless.

This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food, and the owner, Terry, treats you like family! I've never had a disappointing meal here. Be sure to try the Bada Bing Sandwich and don’t miss the fresh cannolis!

I wasn't disappointed with her food. Tuesday is Pasta Night, which is great. The part is more than enough.

The food was incredible, the service was quick and excellent! The staff was very friendly too! I tried the Texan Burger and sampled their Italian beef—wow! Watch out, Portillo's! I’ll definitely be returning! I can't wait to bring my family along!
