Local institution, still as good as it was 25 years ago. They season the lettuce for the hoggies and use fantastic bread so you're in for a good meal

We drive 90 miles to get a Cheese Steak Hoagie, and anything else we've gotten has been fantastic as well!

The first time we visited this restaurant, we found the food to be excellent. Unfortunately, our most recent visit didn't quite live up to that standard. The fries were a bit soft, and the cheesesteak sub my boyfriend ordered hadn’t been toasted, leaving the cheese solid and cold. Additionally, the sub was excessively salty, which was unusual compared to our previous experiences. On the positive side, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. When we requested that they reheat the sub, they happily obliged, and afterward, it was quite enjoyable. We also recommend trying the vanilla Pepsi.
