I had an omelette and was very underwhelmed. My daughter had the pancakes and they were great. I want to give it a 2-star review but do they really deserve that just because of my preferences, no. It's fine, the food is fine, and they're always packed. This wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last.
Coffee is good and real, not a cheap taste like so many places. We tried the waffle, chocolate pancake, banana pancake, and Salmon frittata — all of it was amazing and better than expected. Great music and very large windows for natural lighting. Service was perfect. Highly recommend!

I've eaten at First Watch a couple of times (breakfast lunch and I really want to like it (but I don't . The food is not good. On one visit I had an omelette. The vegetables we crunchy and thrown in in large chunks. The grits were tasteless (This is Georgia, how can grits not be anything less than awesome? the fruit was borderline rotten. Today I went with my husband for lunch. I had the Pick 2 soup/sandwich combo and he had a turkey sausage, scrambled egg platter w/belgian waffle. My soup was butternut squash. It was very watery and tasted heavily of nutmeg. My sandwich was not horrible but the bread was soaked in butter or oil for toasting. The breakfast platter looked like something Delta airlines serves (I'll leave that there .Why 2 stars? The place was clean, service was decent, it was lunch time and we were seated immediately. I gave this place at least twice but it's not working. I'm not going back.
We stopped in for Sunday brunch with seven people. It was super crowded, but the service was excellent, and the food was delicious.
