Although it was a chilly day outside, the patio was heated just right, allowing for a comfortable experience without feeling too warm. I enjoyed the Cuban sandwich, and we also tried the French toast, Egg Benedict Sandwich, and a croissant filled with egg, brie, and strawberries. The portion sizes were just right—not too big, but satisfying. This place is definitely going on our brunch shortlist for future visits!
My daughter and I stopped by for a quick lunch around 1 PM on a Friday afternoon, and I was pleasantly surprised by how busy it was. The service was excellent and efficient. Nido offers amazing croissant sandwiches filled with bacon, egg, and cheese. Even my very selective daughter loved it! The coffee and double chocolate chip muffins were absolutely delicious as well. We will definitely be returning!
We all ordered mimosas, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Traditional Cuban Sandwich, and it was delicious—complete with some crispy, burnt cheese on the edges, which I absolutely adore! I do wish it had come with a side, as I was really craving a small portion of their Nido Salad. One friend tried the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, another had the steak burrito, and while I can't recall what the last one ordered, they all seemed pleased with their meals! I just discovered that they offer a Honey Lavender Cafe Nido, and I'm kicking myself for not trying it. Looks like I’ll have to make a return trip, even though it’s over an hour from my home! It’s worth it! I also appreciate that they have a good selection of alcoholic beverages, though it's funny that they're only open until 5 PM—perfect for some daytime drinking! A big shoutout to the owners and creators of Nido; I absolutely love this place!
The food was excellent and tasted wonderful. It was a delightful experience for us, especially since it was our first visit. The drive there was definitely worth it!
Thank you for your response. I appreciate the offer, but I think it would be helpful to inform customers about the matcha, as it differs greatly from the traditional matcha lattes made by baristas. This could help manage expectations. The matcha latte I ordered tasted like unsweetened, dirty grass water—something I've never experienced after trying many matcha lattes in my life. It was quite disappointing. Additionally, I noticed that the only coffee option for takeaway was American-style, which was also disappointing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. I even took a picture of the drink after pouring it out, and it was extremely gritty at the bottom.
