The decor is fantastic, with a moody ambiance and nice outdoor seating. The service was attentive and commendable. However, the food fell short and felt overpriced. I found the eighteen-dollar salad to be quite ordinary; the dressing lacked flavor and made the salad seem watery. Given the cost in relation to the portion size, we don't intend to come back.
I ordered a chicken sandwich, which was essentially just a piece of chicken on a bun for $18. The chicken was quite tough and difficult to eat. I was really hungry, so I didn't want to send it back and wait for a replacement. The french fries that came with it were perfectly fine, and our server was great. However, I noticed that your competitor down the street offers the same menu item for $16, and theirs is far superior. After this experience, I genuinely have no reason to return, despite having visited several times before. This was the final straw for me.
We sat on the back patio, it was gorgeous. It's was noisy and dark and crowded inside, so I probably wouldn't return in the winter, but the patio was lovely. The food was good. I have a food allergy and they initially brought the food out with my allergen on it but the waitress came back out when she realized and fixed it quickly. It's a but pricey, but what isn't these days?
Great atmosphere, awesome beer list, TVs, burgers, prime rib. 'nough said.
