Last week we had a main of rankin cod fish that looked great but was dry. $36 for overcooked fish. The pasta was absolutely delicious. Having spent a lot of time in Italy, including top restaurants, I’m disappointed at Valdarno’s high prices for (mostly) home style cooking and basic decor.

My 'local ' italian restaurant. What I love about the restaurant is the family friendly atmosphere and personable caring staff who make the time to get to know their guests. Their food is simply home cooked italian style and it presents as consistently being made with love and tradition. Every time I go there my family are made to feel a part of their family and that vibe is very special and authentic.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The portions are generous and authentic, and the pasta dishes are outstanding. It's a cozy family-owned restaurant where you can bring your own wine. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
This restaurant is extremely Italian. They serve authentic Italian bread rolls on tables covered with linen tablecloths. The service is excellent, although a bit expensive. The homemade pasta we ordered was delicious. We are excited to dine here again in the future.
