I went over a year ago and they gave my guest food that was clearly burned. He politely asked to return the dish and the manager becameirritated and argumentative over such a simple and reasonable request. The chicken I had was nothing special, but at least itwas decently cooked. We decided to give it another try a few days ago. Like last time, the drinks were good, but the food wasdeplorable. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and were left with no desire to order anything else. The food tasted like itwas marinated in chlorinated pool water. It was like chewing pieces of a rubber tire. I?ve had enough calamari in my life toknow that this was an insult to kitchens everywhere. I chose not to specifically request to take it off the tab. Instead I toldthe waiter it was not well cooked. I thought maybe he would offer to make things right, but at least he?ll ?let them know.? I?mnot saying it?s not worth going for a pitcher of sangria. But it?s unfortunate that they mistake trash for tapas.
I was curious to try this place since i had recently been to Madrid and loved the tapas there. We opted for the outdoor seating. Service was sorely lacking. The ice melted in our Sangria before someone came back to check if we needed anything. Food was justOK. The poor service alone was enough to make this my 1st and last visit there.
My favorite Spanish spot in DFW. I go at least once a month. Very quaint, cool spot, and fast service. The food is delicious, other Spanish places don?t compare. We always get the paella valenciana (all vegetables) and the patatas bravas. I?ve tried somany dishes over the years and it just never gets old. Cooked to perfection and their drinks and deserts are delicious too. Ihighly recommend for a date night, or a nice patio lunch (in the spring or fall), their patio is beautiful with a great view! Ialso recommend the croquettes with manchego spinach, their alcachofas, literally everything is delicious. Must try if you likeSpanish food!
I enjoyed it a lot. I didn't expected to see sobrassada on the menu, and eating it after 4 years made me happy. I wish they had more cheese selection though. Croquetas were ok, not the best but good enough. Service was excellent, I saw a lot of reviewsabout bad customer service, but we had a good experience.
This is one of our favorite restaurants for date nights or brunch because you get a little bit of Spanish flare that?s nestled in the heart of Dallas. The menu offers up an abundance of dishes that you might not know what to order because they all soundso appealing. Every dish feels like it?s made especially for you. The food is perfectly flavored as if we are eating in Spain atthat moment. Go check them out soon! Photo Cred: IG @the__foodbaby
