The food is excellent—I'm particularly fond of the Rum Punch, while my wife enjoyed the pineapple Mojito. Both nights, I ordered the red snapper. On the first night, I had the daily special: grated red snapper served on mashed potatoes with a Verde salsa. This dish was outstanding and easily the best meal we had in Placencia. My wife opted for the same dish both evenings: a chili and shrimp linguini pasta that she absolutely loved. It's quite spicy, so if you're a fan of heat, you'll enjoy it. This restaurant is a must-visit while you're in Placencia!
We visited Rumfish y Vino for dinner on Wednesday night. Since it was low season and during COVID, we arrived at 7:30 PM and found that it was one of the few restaurants open at the end of the peninsula. We were quickly seated on the outdoor veranda. I ordered the Chile and Shrimp Linguini, which turned out to be one of my favorite dishes in Belize so far. My friends chose a burger and the mankousha with shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals, though the mankousha was a bit different from what we expected—it's more like a healthy flatbread pizza. The service was excellent, making for a wonderfully relaxed dinner.
Absolutely outstanding! The food was incredible; we couldn't get enough. A definite must-visit in town!
I love the second story Open Air atmosphere. The service is excellent. Try the fish tacos. Deliciousness
Do yourself a favor and get the Rumfish lasagna! So, so good! Definitely a different vibe here than some of the other restaurants in the area. It feels a bit more swanky. The service was great and we really enjoyed our meals
