China Paradise - Danville

The food is delicious, and the big cook offers great meals at no charge. The hospitality is warm, and the front staff is very respectful. However, the condition of the carpet throughout the restaurant, particularly behind the counter, is quite dirty. I didn’t mention this during my visit, but I've noticed it on many occasions. After this visit, I’ve decided it will be my last patronage until the restaurant undergoes renovations.

I highly recommend the lunch sets; they offer generous portions and are absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and very polite.

We usually eat Chinese dishes in Oakland Chinatown. If we don't want to go far, we'll eat in China Paradise. It is one of the 2 best Chinese restaurants in our neighborhood. Last night was not disappointed. The Calamari was crispy and tasteful. Beef was tender and well seasoned. The parts were big. My son noticed that a dish was twice as big as we were in other restaurants. Delicious and full!

The Deluxe Mixed Vegetables with Prawns, Curry with Chicken, and Mongolian Beef all taste great and are very reasonable priced as lunch specials, given the large portion sizes and the soup of the day included (even with carry-out orders). My only minor complaint is that the free fried rice, in the lunch specials, is pretty boring.
