The Basil Leaf Cafe - Danville

This restaurant is closed and failed to notify anyone. I had made brunch plans for two weeks, only to arrive for our reservation and find the doors closed with a sign indicating a change of ownership. At the very least, they should inform customers so that people's plans aren't disrupted.

So sorry that this excellent brunch restaurant is closing. Danville needs more places like this

The Basil Leaf Café is closing this weekend after our visit. Most of the staff has resigned, which led to slower service; however, the remaining employees worked tirelessly, and the food was quite good. It's sad to see them go, as they will be replaced by a Mexican restaurant set to open in October.

The dining experience was quite pleasant and comfortable, accompanied by good service. The food was enjoyable, though not extraordinary. There was a nice variety of options for casual dining.

Support this neighborhood gem. The food is good and the place is super cozy. Great service and great people.
