Can not recommend this place more highly. The gnocchi is like eating a cloud of deliciousness. Like dining with your Italian family but with even better wine and Aperol Spritz!
I worked in the restaurant for two weeks, in addition to Antonio's mistreatment, the kitchen is full of cockroaches as seen in the photos. in the fridge, in the deep fryer and everywhere. disgusting
I dined with at Verde recently with my husband and friend and the dinner was just outstanding. Every single dish was thoughtfully constructed and beautifully cooked and presented. Big shout out to the kitchen staff! The floor staff were polite, friendly, clearly keen to do a good job and a pleasure to deal with. We live in Sydney and eat out a lot. We come often to Forster and this is the first time in 20 years here that we’ve experienced such a sophisticated and well-executed menu. Well done.
Whilst we had big expectations, we were not overwhelmed, however nor were we dissappointed. The food was delicious (we both had pasta) and the service was amazing. Topped of with a really nice fell and atmosphere. The was a bit of noise coming from a function upstairs, but we were attending that function so I shouldn't complain.
