Delicious healthy food along with great value. recommend to the tom yum and the tom stuff.
The second time my meal was wrong and not great. I went away and they screwed up my order. I have food allergies and was specific to what I ordered. I ordered personally and had to return to get the right meal. When I got the right food, I checked it and it was still not what I ordered. then I decided to leave it and never go back. the quality of food has also gone down in the last 2 months. I used to be a favorite.
Stopped in for a bite after a swim at the pool. Most shops down Winston ave were shut so nipped up to goodwood road after a craving for fried rice. Boy, I wasn't disappointed. Yum, yum, yum. Mix this with a Vietnamese iced coffee and superexcelkent meal. Will definitely go back. Amazing value food. Super pleasant staff too
We had an appointment nearby and were looking for a meal around 2.30pm. Most places were about to close for lunch, but this cafe was open. It is a little cafe which had about 5 tables, but most of the clients seem to be ordering takeaways. We ordered the combination bahnmi, salt and pepper chicken, and combination pho. The food suprised us as we did not have high expectations, but the meal was hearty. Portions were more than sufficient for us. In spite of the comments from some reviewers about the portion size, we found that the meat in the roll, and in the pho was similar to other places, if not more. The meat; roast pork and chicken were tender and not chewy. Not sure why, but the owners have opted for chunky pieces of meat. The pho broth was not clear but tasted umami, which was more than enough for us to be happy. The salt and pepper chicken was crispy, not too oily, and flavourful. It is not the place to go if you want fancy pho or bahnmi, but a good spot if you want warm food which taste good, and decently priced.
