I have this special shawarma here (discovered by fluke because they ran out of khubs) ask the shawarma guy to make your shawarma with Roti and not khubs they will charge you a dirham extra but wow! Breakfast options here are great too (south indian) and really really cheap!
A reasonably economical option for a tea and snacks in early morning or evening hours Normally in early morning hours when you hardly find any place open this place house many customers who don't have budget to spend on their meals Saw many people taking sip of tea in early morning during my morning walk so curiously tried the tea vada and rice snack (don't remember the name) Vada was much crispy and better than I had anywhere else and even the rice snack was worth a try
Great location in karama, especially if you come to the post office or the medical center. You need to try the chicken sandwich which is wrapped in paratha. And ask him to make it kadak for some crispness.
There are hundreds of other similar restaurant in the same area that have almost exactly the same menu. Having visited most of them, this particular restaurant stands out by a long margin. Typically termed as Malbari Restaurant in Dubai, they are always the cheap and cheerful option to grab a meal at any time of the day. Whether you want to have just a snack, a sandwich, or even a proper filling meal, Al Omair is more cheaper and more cheerful than all the other competitors. It is not exactly a family oriented restaurant as most of the customers are labourers and workers from the neighbouring offices. Even still, they do have a separate family seating area. They maintain a good level of hygiene and cleanliness so you can have a pleasant meal. After many visits with friends, I would recommend the Chicken Biryani, Beef Fried Rice, Chicken Masala, Beef Fry, Chicken 65, Garlic Chicken, Ginger Chicken and many more items off the menu. Coming to the pricing of the food, I would like to describe the bill of a recent visit and that will be enough to make my point and sum up this review. 2 Persons 1 Beef Fry 1 Chicken Masala 1 Chicken Biryani 6 Porotta 1 Double Omlette (2 eggs) 3 Lassi 3 Areej Total: AED 35/
Cheap and cheerful. The quantity and quality of food is excellent value for money. I tried them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not sure about their shawarma though.
