Contribuisci feedbackI placed a future order online a week prior to the date I wanted the pizza delivered. I placed this order for work for a company hand out. I prepaid for 20 pizzas to be delivered. The day comes the pizza is supposed to be delivered at 11 am and it never shows up. I understand that accidents happen, but after trying to get ahold of the store to see what was going on, I was transferred to a call center and spoke with a gentleman who said he would contact me to the store manager. After 35 minutes on hold, I hung up because we found out the location was actually closed because we had a driver drive over and there was a hand written sign on the store saying Closed until 4 . Meaning when I was on hold I was on a line that physically could not be answered. I don 't know what 's more frustrating.. the call center intentionally putting me on hold knowing an associate wouldn 't answer or how the website allowed me to schedule a delivery AND pay for it when the store isn 't even open during those times. I also understand that many business are needing to modify their hours lately, however the store should have reached out to let us know they could not accommodate our order, they had plenty of time to do so. The call center was no help at all when we asked about reimbursement. Going forward, we will be taking our business elsewhere because I don 't want to have to explain to countless hungry employees where their promised pizza is.
I work nights, so I try to be conscious of closing times when ordering late. I placed an order an hour before close (12:00am), and the estimated delivery time was approximately 12:20. At 12:45 I still had no update on my delivery, so I called the number for the store and spoke to what I now assume was an off-site customer service rep who informed me that there was a delay due to limited drivers, but my order would be delivered in the next 15-20 minutes- mind you, the store closed at 1am that night, so they would be cutting it close.Once it hit the 20 minute mark and there was still no sign of a driver I tried calling the store and obviously got no response, as the store was officially closed. I got a call a few minutes later from an actual employee at the store explaining that they didn’t have a driver that evening and had been using DoorDash, but no DoorDash driver had arrived to pick up my order, so it would be cancelled. I won’t place blame on the employees working at the store, as I’ve run into similar issues with my own job and understand how powerless you are when you simply don’t have the manpower to get something done, but the fact that my first follow up call was clearly answered by someone who was not on-site and therefore could not give me an accurate update on my order was extremely frustrating.This location’s management needs to do better ensuring they have drivers available so that these employees are not put in this position, and customers don’t have to deal with some call center employee who has no idea what’s going on with their order. DoorDash and Uber Eats are simply not reliable enough to be a sufficient replacement for a delivery driver.
I ordered online delivery and thought I ordered a triple cheese stick. When it was delivered, I only received chicken wings I had asked where the cheese sticks were. My receipt was only chicken wings. Chad, the driver left and called me back. He was going to bring me some cheese sticks for free on my mistake. Thanks!
Why exactly would Toppers pizza place, make me take a review for them, when in fact I've never had their pizza in the first place??
Generally the food is good there, but we had ordered through Uber Eats tonight, the order said it was placed and our driver had went to Toppers to pick up our order, and all of a sudden it said our order was cancelled. We found another driver, tried again, and the same thing happened, so we called Toppers. At first the worker said they were closed, then he transferred us to another line where we waited for a minimum of 10 minutes. At this point our THIRD delivery driver was at Toppers and it had said the same thing again. I call once more and now they're saying they can't take Uber Eats, so at this point we just try to cancel the order and get a refund. They said they weren't able to do that and that they weren't even able to tell us who to contact to figure out ourselves. Upset and hungry.
