Tria - Dearborn

Breakfast and lunch were good- easy to get a table, service was good. a reservation for dinner because we knew it would be to do, but after checking with the hostess, she forgot us. 15 minutes after our reservation, I checked in again and she admitted she forgot. At this time they told us that the kitchen was 45min behind (which was okay, we were ready to wait), but, I wasn't happy to have to wait so long for a table AFTER to avoid the waiting time.

There was a dance competition and the noise level was that of a high school cafeteria. $240 dinner for two felt like eating in a high school cafeteria, so it was unfortunately not a good experience and the waiter was abrupt and marginalized.

The food was delicious! Our server was cold compared to the server on the table next to us.

We had a bigger party and I called in advance to ask if we share the bill. I was told. When I mentioned it to the waitress when we were there. She said, “No, we don’t, and I don’t know who told you.” Our food took an hour to come and the food was best on average. Very disappointing.

For attentive wait staff, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere TRIA is the place. Plus, they have free valet parking! I've been here twice in their private dining room with a board that I serve on and it's always been an enjoyable experience. So, when it came to choosing a restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner with my husband I knew TRIA would be an excellent experience. We were not disappointed!
