El Corral Mexicano - Decatur

Always great! smiling faces from start to finish love this place!

The food was decent, but I found myself needing to add seasoning not only to my meal but also to the salsa. While the dishes were alright, they really could benefit from better seasoning. The prices are quite reasonable, though I recommend asking for a to-go cup for your drink, as iced tea and soda cost three dollars each. I would definitely consider returning for another meal.

I recommend ordering the fajitas for two; for just a few extra dollars, they provide enough food for lunch and possibly dinner the next day. From my experience, this is the best margarita I've ever had, and it ranks at the top of Illinois!

The food was excellent, and I really enjoyed the salsa which had a nice kick to it. It was a great value overall. The service was also very impressive.

El Corral has consistently been a great spot to dine. The food always arrives hot and tastes fresh. The margaritas are excellent and perfectly balanced—not too strong. The kitchen and bathrooms appear to be very clean. I highly recommend it!
