Sankalp - Decatur

Delicious food! Friendly service! The restaurant has a clean and authentic Indian atmosphere. We ordered Kadhai Paneer and butter naan, and both were excellent. The Kadhai Paneer was full of flavor and just the right amount of spice. The mini idlis were freshly made and very soft. They served us a starter of roasted Rumali roti, which we actually enjoyed even though ours was slightly burnt. However, the Madurai dosa had too much cream, which we didn’t care for. I wouldn't recommend the kulfi since it's the same one you can find at Patel Groceries, not made in-house. Nonetheless, we would definitely return!

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The dosas were crispy and quite spicy, and the service was excellent at reasonable prices. However, the sambar was a bit disappointing. When we arrived on a Saturday night, the place was surprisingly empty, which raised some concerns, but I’m really glad we decided to stay. The dosas were served promptly, and they were perfectly crispy with a delicious potato filling. The staff checked in with us to see if we needed more sambar, which I appreciated. Since we both ordered dosas, I can’t comment on the rest of the menu, but I would definitely recommend this place for their dosas!

Great food and really friendly staff. Excellent potion sizes. The food has right blend of spices and tastes authentic. Even though selection is vegetarian, there are specials with eggs. The prices are reasonable and stands out among the variety of Indian restaurants in Decatur, GA.

Wide variety of vegetarian dishes. Excellent flavor. Our server was polite and attentive. Beautiful pewter tableware. Only thing I would change is the decor....but who goes to Indian for the atmosphere?
