I was traveling solo in Sydney and decided to dine at this restaurant.
We visited one of the several restaurants in Darling Harbour on a Thursday night. My friends and I patiently waited for a table to become available.
I decided to try this new pizzeria. I didn't dine in. Ordered a ham & pineapple pizza. Went home salivating as i was so hungry.Opened the pizza box to total dissapointment. Hardly no filling at all. Very little cheese. Tried my first slice. Very little flavour. The pizza had no aroma whatsever. The only thing you could smell was the pizza base. Won't be returning. The only plus was the friendly service.
I popped down with friends for a mid week catchup meal.....the smiles welcoming us as we entered... we quickly were seated. I noticed the open wood fire pizza oven cracklings away... We had our menus in front of our, and glasses for our byo immediately... 2 of us had pasta...1 pizza..... I went for spaghetti bolagnese which was delicious..... My friend had the most amazing marinara.... Sensational presentation and ingredients.... Our other friend ordered a peperoni pizza... He loved it..I had food envi...... I went back the next night and got a takeaway pepperoni pizza.... Without doubt the best pizza in dee why... I won't go anywhere else for pizza again..The pasta was excellent value.. And another level to that of anything else available in dee why... This is what suburban eating should be.... Affordable, relaxed, and delicious..... Don't go looking for white table clothes and wine list.... Just grab a bottle on the way.. Relax and have an affordable meal with friends or family....
