We made a quick stop for lunch on the way to Sudbury. My husband, who is a fan of Subway and eats there at least once a week, described this particular visit as the worst he had ever experienced. It seems that being the only option in the area gives them the freedom to mistreat their customers. They were very reluctant to give us extra salad, tomatoes, and napkins, and we had to ask several times. When my father-in-law ordered a tuna sandwich, they used only one knife to spread the filling instead of using the appropriate amount. The soup was cold, and we were only given a single cracker. The table was dirty when we arrived, and the chairs were sticky. The bathrooms looked so filthy that I refused to use them. My advice: steer clear of this place!
We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday at noon and found it not too busy, so we received fast service. Both my spouse and I ordered the Grilled Chicken and Bacon Ranch Wrap for $6.79 each plus tax, which is advertised as a new menu item. My spouse also ordered a coffee. Unfortunately, the tortilla used for the wrap was quite tough, leading me to believe it may have been sitting out for a while. The wraps seemed to be lacking in filling, with barely anything visible upon first inspection. It wasn't until I took a few bites that I finally found some filling. Despite this, the coffee was good and the service was quick and friendly. If the wraps are truly their new product, we may consider sticking to the subs in the future to see if the new owners improve the filling.
This review is criticizing the restaurant for not having Wi-Fi and for having non-functioning air conditioning. The reviewer sees this as a sign of declining business ethics and believes that the central franchiser is not maintaining a uniform standard of service quality. They also question the cost of ingredients compared to prices and suggest that something is suspicious. The reviewer mentions that all other restaurants have Wi-Fi but this one does not, and speculates that this could be an attempt to attract foreign franchise traders. They also note that a sandwich with vegetables but without cheese did not receive a discount for the exclusion of cheese for vegan customers.
We stopped quickly to grab lunch to go and keep on travelling. The service was nice and the employees were friendly.
