Schwarzer Hahn - Deidesheim

All in all a beautiful evening with deductions. It is positive to mention that the service staff is very strenuous and very friendly, but it does not run round in many places. The processes are unclear and the waiting time is very long. It lacked the self-evident service, which should actually bring an award in the Michelin. We were in the restaurant for a total of 5 hours, which is when the waiting period is not covered with filled glasses, unfortunately too long. Certainly this was also due to the menu conversion due to an allergy, but also then the time should be covered with more service. The main course (Wild) was magnificent! We liked the interpretation of mandarins in dessert. The rest was solid. Here too we had expected a little more in some places. Nevertheless, we will come back again, because during the Christmas and New Year's time, the gastronomy is just overloaded and everything is just a snapshot.

It won't be our last visit! We wanted to be on the 2nd. Christmas holiday in a Michelin excellent restaurant something to eat and had luck getting a place. When we came down into the vault we were kindly greeted, the jackets were removed and we were accompanied directly to the table. We enjoyed the ambience with the vault as well as the modernity. We had chosen the 5 course menu. Each course was aesthetically dressed, tastefully very matched and a taste explosion. The time between the corridors was reasonable and the service was very attentive. In short we are glad that we have visited the restaurant and will certainly repeat it!

Ambience ok but we felt like placed in a side room. Music was repeated several times and did NOT correspond to the occasion. Staff friendly. All 6 courses were ok but really nothing special for a Michelin star restaurant. We expected more for 179€ without drinks. Comparable Michelin stars in Germany offer more. Shame!

The food was excellent. The service is excellent. The seat with a view to the walk of the bar and kitchen entrance, as well as the staircase entrance was somewhat unhappy with regard to the frame of the Christmas evening with the Galamenue. Rather a place for the guest who has not reserved.

The atmosphere already at the entrance is so positive that it passes through to the way. The fabulous food, the friendly service, everything. We are looking forward to next
