Del Mar Rendezvous

Simple location in del mar with pleasant seating outdoors. we were instructed to look at the menus on our phones, which was strange, as we had server with our ordering and providing “normal” table service anyway. scrolling their extensive menu in their phone is a little annoying it is a huge list and they only need 5-10 minutes to get through it. the food itself was mediocre and didn't sit well with mine. too oily for me, so I won't be back.

We wouldn't go back to eat here because eating is just good fresh, but just a little boring and neat (what could be what we ordered, but generally have not noticed many interesting items on the menu). service is friendly, but it took 90 minutes to get our food that seems a little long (because it wasn't even so busy). the seating in the open are beautiful.

My vegan partner and I have been feeding here for 15 years and we are always very happy with our meals. I am gluten-free and vegan and they have a whole menu for everyone. I can find the number of products that are both gluten-free and vegan. the aromes are tender and irritating - they don't exaggerate it, but they don't subdue it either. it's right. the presentation and the ambiente are very pleasant. they have a delicious mango sorbet dessert with skyberry sauce, which is simply perfect after a very satisfying vegan meal.

Delicious but oily food. had the singapur noodles and french beans. sweet n sour soup was great

Has a separate vegan/vegetarian menu with many options. We had the vegan fried rice and kung pao tofu. The fried rice tasted like regular steamed rice with some vegetables mixed in. Kung pao tofu was a little too sweet for our taste. But the location is great with patio dining.
