Black Bear Golf Club - Delhi

I had a great time at this restaurant! It’s a nice place to relax and warm up before putting and driving. They had plenty of carts available, and the staff was friendly. It was pretty hot, but that’s typical for Louisiana. The only issue I found was with the ninth green—it could use a bit of improvement. Otherwise, everything was excellent!

I just spent the night here before heading to Poverty Point the next morning. It was an excellent place, and I highly recommend it.

I wish they offered tee times at 6:30, but after talking to the pro shop staff and the groundskeepers, I learned they only have three people working to maintain the beauty of the course. The layout is fantastic, with hazards scattered throughout. Since we were the first group out, there was some water on the greens from their recent watering, but besides that, we had a wonderful morning. I really enjoyed this course!

Loved the experience, it's a drive out there but it's well worth it. You better have some idea on how to read greens before you go they are quick quick. Great shape for early spring and it drains well after rain.

Always love coming to this course. The course itself is beautiful and very well maintained and the facilities are clean and well kept.
