Contribuisci feedbackWhat a fun surprise! This was recommended to us by a local and did not disappoint. It was very busy but we did not have to wait long to be seated. We ordered salads and pizza. Both were very good. But the decor was so fun! We had a bit of a wait for our pizza but in the meantime we got to view the many, many Alaskan photos hung everywhere. I would definitely return!
ACTUALLY VISITED JUNE 2019. However, my review was sitting in DRAFTS rather than being posted. My mistake, I guess, but since I took the time to write a review after visiting, I wanted to post it anyway. Here is what I wrote at the time of my visit: There are not a great many restaurants in this area, and a number of the ones here do not get good reviews. Prospectors Pizza did get good reviews so we went there. We agree ...it was a good spot. We had good service and good food for a pretty reasonable price.
This pizza was pretty good! At first they served us a pizza that the cheese was burnt but they did make us a new one and it was pretty good!
We planned on going here when in Denali before we left from the reviews and pictures online. So after our tundra tour we went across the street to check it out. It was packed, about 9:30 at night. Both couples ordered a pizza which was very good and I got the mozzarella bricks which were as big as corn dogs. And tasted great too. Didn't care for the homemade root beer, but that is not why we came here.
We had dinner at this restaurant and the pizza was absolutely delicious. The salad was also very good. And their beer selection was really good also. Skip the fried ravioli, though, it was fried to death hard as a rock, and had more breading than mozzarella.
