Prospectors Pizzeria & Ale House

This pizza was pretty good! At first they served us a pizza that the cheese was burnt but they did make us a new one and it was pretty good!

We planned on going here when in Denali before we left from the reviews and pictures online. So after our tundra tour we went across the street to check it out. It was packed, about 9:30 at night. Both couples ordered a pizza which was very good and I got the mozzarella bricks which were as big as corn dogs. And tasted great too. Didn't care for the homemade root beer, but that is not why we came here.

We had dinner at this restaurant and the pizza was absolutely delicious. The salad was also very good. And their beer selection was really good also. Skip the fried ravioli, though, it was fried to death hard as a rock, and had more breading than mozzarella.

We went here for an early dinner. They must have been changing shifts but the people counting the till never said anything to me when I went up to the bar to order. It took a while but finally they looked at me and told me the guy down at the end of the bar would help me. Bill was very nice and he was very busy. Once those two people were done counting the till, they were done for the day and Bill was the only one behind the bar. He did the best he could. They had a great choice of beers and the pizza was good. I just felt back Bill didn't have more help.

What a terrible customer service experience. “Corporate” reservations are not only not honored but you will be chastised for daring to make an online reservation. “Corporate” confirmed the reservation 3 times within the last 24 hours. We were treated as if we had made the mistake. Unbelievable !!!!
