5:30pm Friday's fish and chips gorgeous...Local Gold Band Snapper in a light crispy batter and chips yum or Whiting fillets and chips very nice... Great for watching the sunset on the waterfront with a cold beer or glass of wine

I stopped by after a morning walk to grab some breakfast. I was getting takeaway so opted for the cabinet and pre-made items. You order at the counter and they bring it out once its ready. They have standard items like pies, muffins and sandwiches. What was interesting was the pice flavour, beef rendang. Looking at the menu again it looks like they have an Asian twist on some of their meals. I grabbed a beef rendang pie, a sausage roll, a custard slice and an oreo cheesecake. All the items were quite nice. The flavour of the rendang was interesting and it did have huge chunks of potato and beef inside. The sausage roll was also quite nice. It is quite easy to find since it is beside Charlie Sappie park so you're able to eat there or take it out. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating too.

Great little cafe for a quick lunch, reasonably priced, decent portions. We had the pumpkin soup and vege burger... Both were quite good.

Service was quick and friendly. Eggs Benedict tasted all right. Cappuccino wasn't the best though I had a much better one in a nearby hotel.
