Craft Pies Pizza - Denison

This restaurant has quickly become our go-to pizza place. Their gluten-free crust is fantastic! The staff may be young, but they are friendly and quick to serve. I highly recommend the build-your-own option. Don’t miss out on trying the magic sauce either! I also sampled some old-fashioned glass bottle root beer, and it was among the best I've ever tasted. This spot is definitely worth checking out, and once you do, you'll likely find yourself coming back for more!

The wife's custom pizza was made properly. I did have to remind the staff the Green Monster is not complete when it comes out of the oven. There are other ingredients that must be put on after plating and cutting... I wish the reminder was not needed. Good pizza. I enjoy the not so normal fountain drinks.

Great concept, but poorly executed. The pizza is actually pretty good, but the service and overall experience at Craft Pies Pizza Company leave a lot to be desired. I've waited around 40 minutes multiple times for what is essentially pizza at the level of Subway. At first, I thought it was just the chaos of a Friday night at 7:30 post-Covid. However, during my most recent visit, they mistakenly handed my order to someone with a to-go request. So now my wait for an overpriced pizza has approached an hour and a half. Not cool.

2) Although it's a newer establishment, the straightforward concept is great for the owner. Unfortunately, it's already showing signs of wear and tear—the menus appear worn, and some decorations are peeling from the walls. It could really benefit from a little more attention to detail. Overall, it's a wonderful place! We come here a couple of times a week!

The pizza was absolutely delicious, but the overall experience left much to be desired. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was only half full. The place itself was dirty; I saw a pizza that had fallen on the floor in front of the oven, untouched. Additionally, I noticed some staff members arguing with each other. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced such poor service here. It’s a shame, as the concept has great potential, but it really needs better management to thrive.
