Benny Blancos Slice Of The Bronx

Great spot! Walk too fast and you’ll miss this discreet little gem. On that note, if you do find yourself in a hurry this is THE spot to grab a couple slices of cheese to go. Step-in, order, step-out, done. Love that about here. The pizza is excellent. The sauce is on the sweet side, something I’m a fan of. Their slices don’t flop unless you load em up; the crust is just thin enough to crisp up but holds its weight. Slices fold up beautifully. Add to that the friendly and accommodating staff, and you’ve got a winning spot. I love how Benny’s doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. Denver, especially downtown, is so full of arrogant shops that are “unique” and “chic” that wind up pushing upmarket and pricing out the locals. Benny’s knows it’s sure as hell not a fast-food pizza shop selling depresso-pies and it’s aware it’s not a “gourmet pie” sit-down spot neither. Benny’s takes the best of speed, service, and quality and absolutely hits it out of the park in a way the competition has forgotten how to do.

I’m from Philly. Is this the best pizza? No. But it’s exactly what I want sometimes. It folds easily. Crispy bottom. $3.50 for a big slice. Great vibe. I once crowdsurfed here. This is good pizza to eat while waking. Most pizza in denver is too floppy to eat while walking. Back in ‘18 I used to roll a joint and smoke it from my apartment to Benny Blancos and then eat 2-3 slices on the walk back. I live too far to make that walk now but I always stop by when I’m in the area.

I'm from New York and the pizza here is pretty decent not gonna lie. I love there lunch special. 2 slices with a soda and 2 toppings for $7. YOU CANT BEAT THAT. and the staff is awesome too

I love Benny Blancos! It's by far one of my favorite Denver pizza spots. They have lots of other options on their menu too to check out. Definitely try Benny's and you'll be hooked!
