Thick crust, cheese blend was delectable, generous toppings, just enough sauce on the top classic carmelized cheese along the outside of the crust...Mmmmmmm...mmmm! YESSSSSSS! It was delicious, filling, warm friendly service and I love the homage to Motown with the Stevie Wonder/Aretha Franklin mural on the wall. This is now my Denver area favorite for pizza.
I always enjoy the food here. This was my first dine-in experience. Great service!
We went on a Monday night and there was a 30-45 minute waiting time, but it's worth it. The pizza is amazing, the service is charming, and people watching is great. My only suggestion is that they rent back the room they pulled out of the next door and expand the dining room. It was packed and even at 8:00 people waited for tables. It's pretty good pizza. We have half a Gold Hill and half a KOTO Telluride. Both were just as delicious. Don't get thrown by the shape or the Detroit style... obviously they know what's in the Motor City.
Something seems a little different than I remember about the pizza (almost like it was shorter? Less crust below the toppings? . It didn't impact how good the pizza is though. The new spot has like 5x the amount of space as the old highlands location next door did. Brooklyn Bridge still my favorite pizza in the country.
One of the best Detroit style pizza restaurants in Denver. The ingredients are great quality and tastes great. I never had ricotta this good on pizza before. Their garlic cheese bread is amazing.
