The Dinner portions are large and the choices of sides numerous. The only fault I see was the lack of an equally attractive dessert menu, not that you'll have much room for dessert if you don't pace yourself or plan to take home leftovers. In particular, the split pea and ham soup is sensational! If I could have taken some home on the plane as carry-on, I most certainly would have bought myself a gallon or two to-go. Any pea soup lover will surely agree this hearty mix is worth a trip in and of itself. The service is laid-back, European fashion. No rush to turn around the table you get to enjoy your meal in peace without hovering wait staff. For price, atmosphere, selection and of course, quality of food, Cafe Berlin is a great place to dine. You won't regret it.
My husband and I were both stationed in Germany in the military and I was raised by an Austrian Grandmother. Having dined at Cafe Berlin it brought us back to the good parts of the military (awesome food) and my favorite memories of rolling rouladen with my grandma when I was little.
