Jack’s On Pearl Wood Fire Grill Steakhouse

The service was slow for drinks and appetizers. One of our party's orders was completely overlooked. We also experienced a lack of communication, as it was quite loud in the restaurant while the waiter was very soft-spoken. The food was decent, but it felt overpriced overall. I wasn't particularly impressed.

The dining experience was quite pricey, but the food was good and the service was excellent. However, it was very noisy, which distracted from our overall experience.

The food at this restaurant is outstanding. They boast about having the best steaks in town, and I can see why. My personal favorite was the oysters Rockefeller. The Caesar salad was quite generous, but it could have been elevated with some anchovy fillet strips. Overall, the steaks are incredibly tender.

Food and ambiance were great! Wine selection was very pricey and service a little slow but would certainly come back again. Upstairs bar and patio looks very enticing when the weather warms up.

Being that my son just moved to the area, we were looking for restaurants in the area and stumbled upon Jacks. Being for the Ct/New York area we consider ourselves foodies. The experience was wonderful. We started off with the mac and cheese and the brussels sprouts. Mac cheese very good and the Brussel sprouts were fantastic. My daughter had the steak salad (very large), my son the chicken tenders and I had the seafood risotto. All were excellent dishes. Drinks very innovative, and desserts looked amazing although we were too stuffed to order. Restaurant décor was very nice and our waiter was friendly and attentive providing excellent service. We cannot wait to return.
