It was charming and exactly what you would hope for on a lovely summer evening! We savored several Polish beers, tried a variety of appetizers (the potato pancakes were exceptional), and had some wonderful conversations with the staff. I also recommend the pierogis and the traditional red kielbasa—they were delicious! We will definitely be returning.
This Polish restaurant appeared to prioritize its bar area more than the dining experience. When I arrived and mentioned my reservation, the staff seemed surprised as if no one ever reserved a table. The food was tasty, but it took an unusually long time to be served.
As soon as I mentioned my Open Table reservation, we were taken to a room that was completely empty, and the menus were just tossed onto our table. We decided to move to the bar area, where there were some other customers, and our server there was very pleasant. However, it took three days for the 1000 Open Table points from our visit to be processed, and that only happened after I reached out to Open Table myself. When I called the restaurant, the staff was not particularly friendly over the phone and seemed annoyed that I had used Open Table. Overall, I won’t be returning.
Great food if looking for authentic polish cuisine. Service was quite terrible and crowd was much more bar-like than restaurant or dining-like.
Food authenic Polish. Everyone who worked there were so nice and friendly.
