There 's a bit of confusion over the name now, as the original Mr. Tuna isn 't, umm, there now, but the location still uses the name on the menu. One of the things I enjoyed last time was their tuna offerings. However, even though the menu listed Mr. Tuna , tuna wasn 't on the menu, as was literally only offered as an afterthought. Gone are incredible dishes, such as octopus; replaced with scant deconstruction of common dishes. I understand Valentines menus are often experimental, but that means the chef is putting their best on show. I did not see such for this meal; quite the opposite, in my opinion.
This experience was an amazing concept. The menu was a delicious variety. And our server was extremely pleasant. Chef Troy is a gem!
Since they’re closing, I felt like they didn’t really care about the quality of the food.
Amazing vibes and amazing food! Suggest to anyone looking for great drinks and sharing plates! The octopus is to die for!
My wife and I came to celebrate purchasing our first house, and the entire experience was amazing, as always. Our server was attentive, quick to give a recommendation for wine, and remembered all of our names. The food is always off-the-charts amazing and fresh, and the ambience is inviting and energetic. Mister Tuna has become our new special occasion restaurant in Denver, replacing those on Larimer Square.
