Petes Greek Town Cafe - Denver

I ate here with my family on a Sunday night around 8, they were not busy at all! We come here for the best gyros!!! They're so amazing, the meat is sliced so thin; I've never seen it so thin anywhere else. It just like melts in your mouth. And the baklava for dessert is amazing and HUGE!! You can easily share one piece for 3 adults; it's that big.

I had been wanting to eat at this restaurant for about 20 years and we finally went there tonight. I can't describe how wonderful our server, Madrid was. She was attentive and super sweet. The food did not disappoint, the shrimp Santorini was on point and everything else was just as good. Even my picky husband enjoyed the food. Thank you (especially you Madrid) and promise we will be back!

Love this place. Great family they have working here. Fast service, we went during a lunch rush from the school coming over they not only gave us excellent service, but great service to the kids that came in as well. The cooks made everything we ordered perfect! Eggs done just right. The pancakes have some secret ingredient that just makes them super delicious. The gyros are authentic tasting. My kids loved it as well. Overall great selection of food. 5 stars from this mama.

I have been here at least three times, and both the food and the service have been excellent every time. Surprisingly, I always find ample parking, and even on weekend evenings, more than two thirds of the restaurant is empty. I enjoy the quietness of the place, but I would love to see it pick up the business it deserves. The building is divided into three sections: a bar that looks like it could be at the side of a bowling alley, a classic diner, and a more formal Grecian dining room (complete with columns and frescoes) plus outdoor seating. This is excellent Greek food, it hits the spot, the portions are generous (but not to the point of being tacky), the menu variety is on point, the atmosphere offers something for everyone, and the prices are quite reasonable.

As far as Greek diners go, not bad. Not the best of the Pete's restaurants there's a few better out there, but they are all pretty similar. Food was good, more authentic Greek than Sam's.
