Recess Beer Garden - Denver

Stopped by to catch up with an old friend from high school. Casual open seating with apps, wings and burgers and fries turned out very nice. It was kind of hot outside and the umbrella tables fought off part of the heat, but it was a bit warm for me. The food and drinks hit the spot just right!Food: 5/5

Great place! Great times! This is becoming one of Colorado's more older bars. I used to come here 5 to 6 years ago. It's still just as fun now as it was before. The staff is so friendly, and so helpful! Even when they're three people deep at the bars. Very chill atmosphere. Parking could be a little difficult to find. That's about it. Absolutely love this place. There's a lot of places around Highlands. You should definitely check this place out! ?

We stopped here for some drinks and appetizers. This place was an awesome atmosphere with lots of different seating areas (outside/inside). They do label what is Gluten Free on the menu. We ordered some beers and the Recess Nachos w/ Smoked Brisket (gluten free) and it was awesome.

Great spot for outdoor friends and beers! Very open with lots of group seating, fire towers and pits for colder nights, and dog friendly! Staff was so great, with good info and suggestions ! The Brussels were amazing!Food: 5/5
